When Beelocity has something to tell you — a record was saved, a sale could not be completed, a shift was closed — it says so in a small message that slides down from the top of the screen and disappears on its own.
These fleeting messages are for the action you just performed. Anything you should know about that happened elsewhere — an approval assigned to you, an invitation, an invoice going overdue — lands durably in your Inbox instead, under the bell in the top bar, and waits there until you deal with it.
One message at a time
There is only ever one of these messages on screen. If something else happens while a message is showing, the new message takes its place rather than piling up behind it. Repeating the same action — pressing Save three times on a form the server keeps rejecting — refreshes the same message instead of covering your screen with copies of it.
This means the message always shows the most recent thing that happened. When an action produces several results at once (for example a bulk delete where some rows could not be removed), Beelocity sums them up in a single sentence rather than reporting each one separately.
How long it stays

Errors stay longest because they are the ones worth reading twice. You can:
- Hover over the message to keep it on screen while you read it.
- Close it immediately with the × that appears when your pointer is over it.
- Swipe it away — up, left or right — on a touch screen.
Some messages carry a button underneath, for an action that follows naturally from what just happened. Pressing it runs the action and closes the message.
What these messages are not
- They never ask you to decide anything. Anything that needs your confirmation — deleting a record, posting a document — opens a proper dialog with buttons, and waits for you.
- They are not the place errors hide. If a page itself fails to load, the page tells you so directly, and it stays on screen until the problem is resolved.
- They never block your work. The message floats above the page but does not take your clicks — you can keep typing, scrolling and clicking underneath it.
If a message disappears before you could read it, the action it referred to has still been carried out (or not) exactly as it said — reopening the record always shows you the real, current state.
